plagiarism.
14 May 2007i have recently discovered that this 'designer' is claiming my custom kaobi logotype as his own work. i have contacted him and asked him to remove it from his website but it is still there.. any ideas anyone?
edit: thanks to that all 'round good bloke and designer extraordinaire jeff fisher who also contacted the designer in question, the whole thing has been sorted out.
according to the antony at oneteneleven.co.uk he was approached by the client to create some concepts for the kaobi brand and was sent some of my previous concepts. apparently he assumed that my custom wordmark was a standard font...
In Jeff's words: "It looks like your client may have been partly at fault. Still, not wise of the designer to post the logotype as his own without an explanation that it was not his work."
It would appear that when I emailed the client I got no response but when Jeff contacted him he got a response straight away :D
Thanks Jeff!
Happy Tuesday Everyone.
