been a long time.
16 March 2008hey, it was pointed out to me the other day (by my good friend mr. damien mason) that i have not updated my website in a long long time... let it be known that it is not that i don't WANT to update my website.. every time i look at it i think about how the next version should look.. i have just not come up with a cohesive direction.. yet
anyway, so i am gonna update some news anyway as some pretty cool stuff has been going on recently:
1. another good friend of mine, illustrator and kickass designer dr. lyndsay meager has recently taken the plunge to start her own business; it's a date event design. what this means is that when you need someone to design those one-of a-kind invites (plus anything else you might need for that matter) for your next event you now have somewhere to go.
2. books. recently my work has been (or is soon to be) published in a few books, you can see nine of my logos in logolounge 4 and at least six (i am not exactly sure how many just yet.. but it was six at last count) in the new really good logos book which is coming out in may. also, getting away from logos for a while my website is featured in the new web design index 8 (also coming out in may) and my flamingos are gonna be in this years semi-permanent book. you could say i am a little excited. ;)
3. moving house. i am finally moving into a house on my own again and i can't wait. that is not to say that there was anything necessarily wrong with living with a housemate.. just that i am really looking forward to having my own space again. less than one week to go.. i only wish someone else would do the packing. :D
